The practice does not offer emergency care.  If this is a psychiatric emergency, please call 988 or contact local emergency services.  If you need emergency care for mental health or substance use, visit the nearest emergency room or call 988. For medical emergencies, call 911 or visit the nearest emergency room.  For crisis support, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline 1-800-273-TALK (8255) or use the online chat available (Spanish language and hard of hearing accessible). Oregon Health Authority maintains a list of mental health crisis resources available to Oregonians.

As a solo clinician practice, I have limited patient capacity. Before we can set up an appointment I schedule a brief introductory inquiry call. There is no fee for this initial telephone consult.  The call is to to discuss your care needs and concerns. If an appropriate clinical match is determined, we can begin the patient intake process where patient and provider communications are conducted via our secure, online patient portal and video based telemedicine platform.

I accept adult (age 18+) patients who are appear to be a good match for my telemedicine practice, are within my specialty areas, share kindness as a value; and we mutually determine to work together addressing your treatment needs. I do not establish a patient medical record until an initial appointment is made.

Our practice, Telemental, is a partnership. I handle all of the clinical matters, and Liz manages the practice.  I do not get involved in tech support issues, patient finances or insurance.  If your call does not involve a clinical, patient care issue, please direct it to Liz for help.
